Delivering Rapid Response Emergency Medical Services to the Rural Dakotas
Prompt access to trauma care for the critically ill and injured greatly enhances the medical outcome for those patients. Angel Air Care is committed to serving our rural communities through rapid response emergency medical helicopter services. Angel Air Care’s service area footprint covers a broad, under-served region across South Central and Western North Dakota and North Central and Western South Dakota. The goal is to save lives, reduce disability and speed recovery for victims of trauma and illness and to support local EMS services by improving patient access to rapid response trauma care for the residents of rural North and South Dakota. This will decrease the time it takes to transport patients to care centers during the critical ‘golden hour.’
